IEQ Audit

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Americans spend 90% of our time indoors. This emphasizes the importance of being able to breathe clean, contaminant-free air at home and during our work day.

Occupant SymptomsThe signs of a "sick building" include odor, visible mold or other contamination on air vents or other surfaces, and occupants with symptoms like nasal stuffiness, eye irritation, wheezing, skin irritation or Asthma episodes.

If you suspect that mold, allergens, pet dander, dust or other pollutants are affecting the air that you breathe, call us today. Cubix IEQ offers a free* IEQ Audit - we can profile the contaminants present in your home or office building and develop a remediation program.

*We cover the cost of the on-site audit and sample taking, you are responsible for the lab testing fees.

Many companies will not provide you with your full testing results. At Cubix IEQ, we believe that you deserve every piece of information that you paid for.

Many companies will pressure you to contract with them to complete the remediation process. At Cubix IEQ, we stand behind the integrity of our test results and data interpretation and we always encourage you to confirm all results with an outside consultant and to choose a remediation contractor that you feel comfortable with.

We know that we aren't the cheapest in this business, but we are the best at what we do. We provide a full range of services related to the indoor quality of your home or office and we want to be your single source for IEQ solutions.

Cubix IEQ is an adjustor-friendly company and we coordinate as necessary with all major and minor insurance carriers.

Here's how our IEQ Audit works:

  • During the on-site audit, we perform a physical inspection and baseline testing, which involves reading a series of series of metrics and particle counts from our in-house testing equipment.
  • Based on what we see during the inspection and any triggers from the testing equipment, we recommend the appropriate lab testing to profile the contaminants in your home or office building.
  • Lab CultureWe collect all materials necessary for the lab tests, including air cell, bulk, lifts, plates and swab samples.
  • The lab tests will be performed by an independent, third-party, certified lab who is not affiliated with Cubix IEQ.
  • After the lab testing is completed, we submit a full report to you with details on all the test results and our recommendations for remediation, based on accepted industry standards. However, we always recommend that you confirm the test results with an outside consultant.
  • There is no pressure on you to schedule the remediation with our company and, as stated above, we provide you with your complete test results and our remediation plan. You always have the option to have the work performed by another organization or contractor.
  • Whether we complete the remediation work or you use an alternative contractor, we will return to perform clearance testing to document contaminant removal. However, in the case that you use another organization for the remediation, we will only perform clearance testing if they follow our remediation plan in every aspect.
